One of the best day trips I’ve taken in Kyushu! Spent a peaceful morning in Yufuin, then experienced a thrilling safari ride, and rounded off the day marveling at boiling hot springs with unbelievable colors. Truly a sensory delight.

Yufuin’s charm, safari thrills, and Beppu’s geothermal wonders—packed into one amazing day!

Cultural calm in Yufuin, wild safari fun, and nature’s power at the Jigokus—top-tier day tour!

This tour is a perfect blend of tranquility, adventure, and natural wonder. Yufuin’s peaceful streets and hot spring vibes balanced beautifully with the excitement of feeding rhinos on the safari, and the surreal Hell Springs of Beppu gave a fascinating contrast. Our guide’s thoughtful pace and stories made it even better!

Giraffes, steam vents, and lakeside serenity. Kyushu in a nutshell!

Perfect for families or solo travelers: cute animal encounters, dreamy hot spring towns, and mind-bending geology all in one. The pacing and transportation were stellar—everything fell into place effortlessly.

The moment I saw Mount Yufu reflected in Kinrin Lake, I knew this day would be special. Add in giraffe eye contact and those surreal blue springs... I can’t recommend this enough.

Our kids couldn’t stop talking about feeding rhinos and spotting zebras from the safari bus, and we adults adored the peaceful Yufuin stroll and quirky hot springs. Perfect mix for all ages—thank you!

Magical Yufuin + African safari animals + hellish hot springs = perfect Kyushu day trip.

Beautiful scenery, adorable animals, and jaw-dropping hot springs. Loved every minute.

An absolutely unforgettable day! From the dreamy mist over Kinrin Lake in Yufuin to getting up-close with giraffes and elephants on the safari bus, then ending with the mesmerizing cobalt-blue pools of Umi Jigoku and the dramatic steam vents at Kamado Jigoku—I felt like I crammed an entire week of Japan into one spectacular day.

Loved how dynamic this tour was—strolling Yufuin’s quaint village, cooing at baby giraffes up close, and wowed by the eerie beauty of Umi Jigoku’s deep blue spring. The itinerary flowed smoothly, and I didn’t feel rushed at all.

I fell in love with Yufuin’s sulfur mist rising over Kinrin Lake, giggled at feeding baby animals, and felt completely awed by the earth’s power bubbling up in Beppu’s Hell Springs. My soul felt soothed and thrilled in equal measure.
