Incredible contrast: powerful volcano, peaceful grassland, and cultural castle—all in one day.

Volcano, horses, history—Aso’s got it all.

Loved every stop—from samurai history to volcanic landscapes, plus a calming walk in green meadows and browsing souvenir stalls at Aso roadside station. Highly recommended for nature lovers and history buffs alike!

Aso delivered everything—history, nature, and green vistas. Loved the horse-filled grasslands!

An unforgettable adventure! The crater views were dramatic, Kusasenri was serenely beautiful, and I loved the optional horseback ride through the rolling grasslands. The whole day was well organized and never felt rushed.

What a day! We started with the grandeur of Kumamoto Castle, then felt a deep connection to nature at Aso—smoke rising from the volcano, horses on open fields, and fresh mountain air everywhere. Ending at the local kinds of market was the perfect cultural touchpoint.

Perfect one-day escape: Kumamoto Castle, volcanic drama, and serene countryside.

Fantastic tour! The volcano left me speechless, the grassy plains were so relaxing, and the local snacks at ASO station were delicious. A full yet comfortable day.

Majestic crater, dreamy green fields. Kyushu at its best!

Easily one of the most breathtaking tours I’ve done in Kyushu! Seeing the smoking Nakadake crater up close was intense and awe-inspiring. Strolling across the Kusasenri grasslands with horses grazing and vast mountain views was so peaceful. Ending the day browsing local treats at Michi-no-Eki ASO rounded the trip off perfectly.

Beautiful, educational, and adventurous. Great day tour.

This tour balanced history, nature, and culture beautifully. Kumamoto Castle’s samurai heritage was immersive, while Mount Aso’s crater reminded me of Earth’s raw power. Kusasenri’s emerald meadow was like stepping into a dream. The guide was informative and kept everything flowing smoothly.
